New 49 Strand .925 Sterling Silver is for the purist designer that requires absolute softness and flexibility in pure, solid .925 Sterling. A thin, crystal clear layer of nylon gently covers the Sterling wire to prevent kinking and provide abrasion protection. Due to its lower breaking strengths and extreme softness, we recommend reserving this wire for your most precious designs. For extended-wear designs, we recommend using our stronger, and more abrasion resistant 49 Strand Silver Plated stainless steel wires.
