1. Cut three 20” strands of pink clear colors wire.

3. Make four fuchsia bicone coil topped dangles.
4. Thread one end of all three wires into a crimp tube, through active clasp end and back into crimp tube. Use your chain nose pliers to pull wires through so they are all the same length. Leave some room between top of crimp tube and clasp to allow for play and prevent wear.
5. Uncross wires inside of tube and crimp.
6. Clip all wires with ergo cutter tool, nipping flush to bottom of crimp. Don’t cut the long wires!
7. Bead the first half of the necklace. Each color should go on a separate wire and there should be 16 of each bead.
8. Measure down 7” and mark with a permanent marker.
9. Slide crimp tube over all three beaded strands to left of mark.
10. Crimp with crimp tool keeping wires separated.
11. Slide bluebird on wires up to crimped tube.
12. Slide another crimp tube on opposite side of bird.
13. Crimp with crimp tool keeping wires separated.
14. Repeat pattern established in first half of necklace.
15. Finish necklace measuring up 7” and crimping three strands over other end of clasp. Clip off excess wire.
16. Separate beads into four sections of four beads per wire with crimp covers over all three wires. Use Mighty Crimp tool to secure covers closed around wires. These are meant to be able to move, so keep wires inside of crimp cover holes.
17. Add a final two jump rings to receptive end of clasp under the crimped wires.
18. Slide on metal star and beaded bicones. Secure with pliers. |
