1. Remove chain segments.
2. Slide a headpin into the jet crystal, flower sequin and the center of the felt flower. Use round nose pliers to create a loop flush to the back of the flower.
3. Attach a 20” segment of wire to an EZ-Crimp end using the Mighty Crimp Tool. Slide the beads on in the following asymmetrical pattern: 2 puffed square (ps), 1 smoky coin (sc), ps, sc, 1 clear quartz (cq), ps, cq, ps, 2 sc, 3 ps, sc, cq, flower, cq, ps, sc, 2 ps, sc, ps, sc, 2 ps, cq, ps, cq, sc, 2 ps, 2 sc, cq, ps, 3 sc, cq, 2 ps, sc, cq, sc, 3 ps, cq, ps, sc.
4. Slide wire into an EZ-Crimp end and attach with Mighty Crimp Tool. Use chain nose pliers to grasp and pull wire end into EZ-Crimp and be sure to round the strand before you finish it so it’s not too stiff.
5. To create your triple wire strand, crimp three 24” sections of wire together. Make sure to uncross the wire inside of the tube before you crimp. Use wire cutters to flush cut the wire tails to the bottom of the crimp tube. Slide the beads on in the following pattern: clear quartz on one strand, white agate on the second, MOP square on the third, slide all wires into a white agate round, leaving one wire empty, slide an MOP square on the second and a clear quartz on the third, slide all wires into a white agate round. Continue this established pattern until you reach the 15th beaded segment. Adjust the design to create tension on the wires. Each segment should be approximately 1.25” from white agate to white agate.
6. Slide all three wires into a size 3 crimp tube, uncross them and crimp wires. Cut tails flush to bottom of crimp tube.
7. Attach chains and beaded wires in the following order with the longest chain on the bottom and the beaded single strand on the top: Beaded single strand and rolo chain attach on one jump ring to the top loop in the clasp. Woven strand has a second jump ring on each end; attach the second jump ring followed by the long and short chain to the second loop on your clasp with a jump ring. |
