Designer’s tips:
Flatten the crimp tubes to place the beads towards to one end of your wire. Don’t forget to trim any wire sticking out of the ends of the crimp tubes.
The strands of gemstones are usually around 16 inches. Both gemstones used on this necklace come naturally with color grading, veins and flaws that accentuate its character.
To get the color effect seen here I edited the strands. In other words, I picked the ones that I considered the best for a dark to light look (considering the center the darkest area).

1.
Cut 2 pieces of 15 in length of satin copper stringing wire; cut 1 piece of 15in length of gold color stringing wire.

2. Feed the 3 strands of wire together onto a #3 crimp tube, pass through EZ lobster clasp ring and back through crimp tube. Use mighty crimp tool to secure it in place and trim excess wire.

3. Braid to a 10 inches length the three strands together making sure the gold color wire is between the satin gold wires. Finish the opposite end attaching an EZ lobster clasp as on step 2.

4. Cut 15 pieces of 7 inches length of satin gold crinkle wire.

5. String one #1 crimp tube onto a 7 inches wire, and crimp it. Add beads following pattern: one butterfly bead + 5 crimp tubes + agate lily bead + oval bead bumper. Make 5 more fringes using Indian agate lily beads. Set them aside.

6. Repeat step 5 to make 9 fringes using sating crinkle wire combined with carnelian Lillie beads instead of agate. Set them individually on a flat surface and make sure they do not tangle on each other.

7. Cut 14 pieces of 5 inches length of satin gold crinkle wire.

8. Feed one crimp tube onto a 5 inches piece of wire and slide a butterfly bead onto. Set aside.

9. Repeat step 8 using 10 light Colorado topaz crystals, feeding one piece of 5 inches wire onto each crystal and then set aside.

10. Make three last fringes using 3 pieces of wire with 3 topaz crystals – like the previous fringes, one piece of wire for each crystal. Set aside.

11. Find the center of your braided strand. Add a crimp tube onto one of your fringes from step 5 and pass the wire end through the wires and back through the crimp. Crimp it next to braided section, leaving around 5 ¾ inches of exposed wire.

12. Continue adding all the strands/fringes of wire with water lilies beads on it. First use all the agate ones and then add the carnelians. Leave a space of approximately ¼ inches between each strand. Form a “V” shape like cascade going from the longest (around 5 ¾ inches) to shortest (4 ½ inches) strand.

13. Once you are done with step 12, repeat same process with crystals and single butterfly fringe. Place the butterfly first towards to the center of necklace and then start placing crystals playing with two colors (light Colorado and topaz).

14. Cover all the crimped tube beads using both styles of crimp covers adding texture to your necklace. (Sparkle and polished crimp covers).

15. Attach an EZ lobster clasp to role chain and then attach it to both ends of necklace.
