Necklace
1. Use a coiling tool or a bamboo skewer to make a 1" hematite coil; cut it in half.
2. Cut 1 ½ continuous loops of memory wire.
3. Pass a head pin through a smoky bead and the holes on one side of the Katiedids circle component; make a wrapped loop.
4. Cut a 5" piece of beading wire and pass it under the head pin in the circle component. String beads onto the wire to fit inside the channel, crossing the wire ends inside a bead or two to complete the circle. Tack the beads down with a few drops of bead stringing glue.
5. Cut a 6" piece of hematite wire and wrap it around the edge of a circle component. Flatten it against the component using nylon jaw pliers. Repeat Steps 3-5 to for a total of three circle components.
6. Use round nose pliers to make a loop on one end of the memory wire.
7. String 44 mixed metallic beads and a hematite coil.
8. String a clear seed bead, circle pendant, clear seed bead.
9. String copper coin, silver, smoky, silver, copper coin.
10. Repeat Steps 8-9 as shown to create the center focal section.
11. String a hematite coil, 44 mixed metallic beads and make a loop on the wire end.
12. String a smoky bead onto a head pin and make a wrapped loop to attach it to one end of the necklace; repeat for the other end.
Earrings
1. Pass a head pin through one hole on the rectangle component, then pass through: silver, 2 gold, silver, clear, copper, clear, gold, 2 silver, gold and out the other end of the rectangle.
2. Make a basic loop to attach the dangle to an earring.
3. Make a ½" hematite coil; cut it in half.
4. String a coil onto each earring as shown. Use chain nose pliers to tighten the upper ring on the coil to hold it in place.
