Instructions

Anklets add a summery touch to any outfit. They're easy to make with Elasticity, a transparent elastic bead cord, — it's strong and super stretchy.
Tip: A half knot is the same knot that you make when tying your shoe. To make a square knot, tie two half knots in opposite directions. In other words, right-over-left then left-over-right.
Finished length: 9 in.

  1. Cut a 12 in. length of Elasticity. Using a square knot, tie half of the clasp onto one end of the cord. Place a drop of G-S Hypo Cement on the knot. This glue is designed for jewelry applications – it dries clear, and stays somewhat flexible, not brittle.
  2. Attach a jump ring to each charm. When opening jump rings, use chain nose pliers to open the ring sideways – do not pull the ends of the jump ring directly away from each other.
  3. String beads randomly onto the cord for 1 1/2 in., then string a charm. Repeat this pattern six times to use all the charms. Using a square knot, tie half of the clasp onto the other end of the cord. Place a drop of G-S Hypo Cement on the knot.
