1. Measure your doggie’s neck to obtain the finished comfortable length of necklace. The sample collar is approximately 15” before the clasp and fits a medium size terrier. After determining necessary finished length, measure the segments of beads and clasp on the bead board and divide the remaining length into 4 equal sections. Cut rubber tubing into 4 sections measuring them out on the bead board and marking with a pen before cutting with a pair of flush cutters.
2. Bead in the following order: 14mm disco ball, 8mm disco ball, Bali style tube, rubber tube segment, copper crystal rondelle, wood ball, rondelle, rubber tube, rondelle, 8mm disco ball, 14mm disco ball, 8mm disco ball, rondelle, rubber tube, rondelle, wood ball, rondelle, rubber tube, Bali style tube, 8mm disco ball, 14mm disco ball.
3. Thread wire into EZ Crimp using pliers to pull wire tight (round the design to keep it from becoming too stiff before you crimp.) Attach EZ Crimp with Mighty Crimp Tool, cutting excess wire using flush cutters.
4. Attach toggle circle end to one end of collar with a 10mm jump ring. Attach toggle bar to the opposite end of collar with a 10mm jump ring and an 8mm jump ring, this allows bar to fit into circle.
5. Create star head pin coiled top dangles (3 indicolite bicones and one 8mm disco ball.) Slide these on an 8mm jump ring with closed heart tags in the following order: heart tag, indicolite bicone, heart tag, disco ball, heart tag, indicolite bicone and heart tag.
6. To create the pendant, cut a small image of a crown to fit inside the metal pendant frame. Print out the phrase or name of your choice in 9 pt. Gaudy Old Style font and cut into a small rectangular shape. Place the phrase on top of the image at an angle, putting this carefully into the frame and securing it. (If you want to decoupage the phrase to the image for added security, you can do so using GS Hypocement for paper.)
7. Attach the pendant to an 10mm jump ring and thread this on to the toggle circle jump ring. Finish by adding your beaded jump ring to the top of the pendant securing it on the 10mm jump ring with pliers
8. Check back through all jump rings to ensure that they are properly closed.
