PROJECT TIP:
A lariat can be worn in several ways:

Place the center of the necklace against the front of the neck. Wrap the ends around the neck and allow them to hang freely in front or tie them together loosely.
Gently fold the necklace in half. Wrap it around the neck and place the ends through the loop created by the fold.
Wrap the lariat around the hips and us an "S" hook to fasten it together 3-4" from the ends.
1. Cut a 48" length of Beadalon® 49. String a crimp bead 1/2" from one end of the wire. Fold the wire end back into the crimp bead to form a loop. Crimp it. String three assorted beads and another crimp bead. Crimp it to hold the beads in place.

2. Leave 2", then string a crimp bead onto the wire. Crimp it. String assorted beads for 1- 1 1/4". String another crimp bead and crimp it to hold the beads in place.

3. Repeat Step Two 14 times. String a crimp bead 1 1/2" from the wire end. Crimp it. String three assorted beads and another crimp bead. Fold the end of the wire back into the crimp bead to form a loop. Crimp it.

4. String a 10mm round bead and a bell cap onto a head pin. Use round nose pliers to make a loop above the bell cap. Attach the head pin loop to the loop at the end of the lariat. Make a wrapped loop on the head pin by wrapping the extra wire around the base of the loop. Repeat this step to make a beaded charm for the other end of the lariat.
