1. Cut one piece of 4” of German style wire.
2. Place your round nose pliers 2 inches far form one of the ends of the wire and make a loop wrapping only one turn. Do not trim excess wire yet.
3. Use the far tip of round nose pliers to make a small loop following the natural curve of the wire.
4. String largest bead onto wire and then using your index finger to bend it around the outside surface of bead going 2/3rd of the distance between the edges of the bead. Trim excess wire right on little loop at the tip of wire.
5. Make a simple wrapped loop at the opposite end of wire (wrapping it twice) and then wrap it around outside surface of bead, completing the turn wrapping wire back to first loop, going around it twice and then trim excess wire.
Make similar links using 2 medium pearls and set then aside
6. Cut one piece of 5” of German-style wire.
7. Make a wrapped loop 2 inches far of one end of the wire and string a medium pearl onto.
8. Make a second wrapped loop at the opposite end of the wire. You will have both ends of wires sticking out. Extra care is needed to avoid pocking your fingers.
9. Hold the end of the shortest wire(first loop) and wrap it around the outside surface of bead and finish off wrapping it tight around the base of opposite loop. Go around a full turn and then trim excess wire.
10. Repeat step 8 wrapping it around the outside surface of bead, wrap around the base of opposite link once and then make a third turn around the bad and finish back to opposite loop. Wrap it around the link twice if possible and then trim excess wire. You must add 3 wraps to the outside surface of pearl like creating a cage to accent it.
11. Open all 4mm jump rings and use them to connect the pearl links onto a chain. Ending it connecting the toggle using two 6mm jump rings on each part of clasp.
12.Cut a 2” piece of wire. Make simple loop at the far end , trim excess wire.
13. String charm through its loop and then make a second loop at the opposite end. Trim excess wire.
14. Open one loop of charm link and attach it to last small pearl.
15. Open 6mm jump ring and then attach pearl charm to round side of toggle. Add second jump ring for extra safety. |
