1. Cut four 8” sections of wire.
2. Attach two wires to a loop of your connector using a size 3 crimp tube and the Mighty Crimp Tool. Cut off excess wire. Repeat for the two other loops. Use chain nose pliers to grasp and pull wire through crimp tubes.
3. This is a woven design that works like a net. The beads station the wires and create tension. As you work, adjust the beads to maintain tension in the design. Don’t make them too loose or too tight, you’ll see how the design forms as you work and you can make adjustments as you move along the wires.
4. Thread the two centermost strands into a dichroic disc and a frosted yellow seed bead.
5. Thread the two left strands into a black seed bead and repeat this with the two strands on the right side.
6. Leave the two outermost individual strands open.
7. Thread the inner strand of the outermost left side and the left strand of the center pair into a frosted red seed bead.
8. Repeat using the inner strand of the outermost right side and the right strand of the center pair into a frosted red seed bead. This should start to create a netlike effect stationed by beads.
9. Thread the two center strands into a yellow dichroic bead and a frosted yellow seed bead.
10. Thread the two outermost strands on both sides of your dichroic bead into a black seed bead.
11. Thread the inner left and the center left strand into a red frosted seed bead. Repeat on the opposite side.
12. Continue this pattern until you reach the final dichroic glass disc. There is no final frosted yellow bead.
13. Crimp the design, sectioning the wires in the same groupings you used at the start. Cut excess wire. |
