1. Cut blue Artistic Wire in 10 pieces of 6 inches length.
2. Wrap one piece of blue wire around round circle until you have a total of 10 turns. Use nylon jaw pliers to flatten and smooth out the wraps as you go. Trim both ends of excess wire. Wrap a second one on the same circle ring on the opposite side to the first wrap. Repeat with all the four circle rings left and then set aside.
3. Cut mint wire as in step 1.
4. Repeat the same direction of step 2 using 3 oval rings.
5. Place square Crystallized stone on top of the last oval solid ring. Wrap last piece of mint wire around both components – ring and stone. Make 5 turns with wire so it stays in place. After you finish use nylon jaw pliers to make sure stone is flat and tight and cut excess wire.
6. Cut 1 piece of 3 inches length of German style wire and then make a half loop, slide a oval quick link and finish wrapping loop on one end.
7. String 1 silver shade bead and make another half loop, slide another oval quick link and then wrap loop on the opposite end. Trim excess wire. Make 3 more of these and set aside.
8. Use connectors to assemble the parts. Use chain nose pliers to open and close connectors. Remember you will use connectors between each part that need to be linked. Follow the sequence given below:
Start connecting :
Swivel clasp + 2 oval quick links + oval mint ring + round blue ring + oval quick link + round blue ring + one link from step 7 + round blue ring.
This last blue ring is the center of your necklace.
9. Now repeat step8 but first built a chain using 6 oval quick links together and then start adding all the components symmetrically with the other half of necklace.
10. Open one connector and attach between the two round blue rings, add one of the links made on step 7, connect to square wrapped oval ring and then add another linked from step 7. This is the short strand in the center of the necklace.
11. Attach the last oval mint ring to the center round blue ring.
12. Feed the last silver shade bead into ball head pin and make a simple wrapped loop. Attach it to connector. This is the center drop of necklace. |
