1. With a pair of chain nose or flat nose pliers in each hand, grasp the ends of a 1-to-1 connector and gently twist the connector two or three times; repeat for all of the connectors.
2. On six of the connectors, use wire cutters to cut both of the loops. Open the loops on one end of the connectors like hinges and slip a briolette onto each one. Set these aside for Step 7.
3. String a Pacific opal and a blue zircon crystal onto a head pin and make a wrapped loop to attach it to a 1-to-1 connector; repeat for five more connectors. Set these aside for Step 7.
4. String a padparadscha cube onto a head pin and make a wrapped loop to attach it to the center of the chain.
5. Skip one large link on the chain, then string a blue zircon bicone onto a head pin and make a wrapped loop to attach it to the chain.
6. Repeat Steps 4-5 to attach the padparadscha cubes and the blue zircon bicones, working out from the center on both sides of the necklace.
7. Attach the beaded 1-to-1 connectors alternating as shown to the empty links on the chain between the cube and bicone dangles.
8. Use an S hook clasp to fasten the ends of the necklace. |
