1. Cut 1 1/2 loops of necklace wire using memory wire shears. Always use memory wire shears to cut memory wire; the tempered hardness of the wire will ruin the blades of other cutting tools. 2. Using round nose pliers, make a loop on one end of the memory wire. 3. String the rubber tubing onto the wire, then make another loop on the wire end. 4. String a 6mm bicone bead onto a head pin and make a loop above the bead. Attach it to one loop on the end of the necklace. Repeat this to add a dangle to the loop at the other end of the necklace. 5. Attach an S hook to the last link on the chain. Attach the hook to the center of the necklace and use chain nose pliers to squeeze it shut. 6. String a 3mm silver bead, a Toho cube bead and a 3mm silver bead onto a head pin. Make a loop above the top bead. make two additional head pins in this way. Attach them to the chain as shown. 7. String a 3mm silver bead, dichroic cube and a 4mm silver bead onto a head pin. Make a loop above the top bead. Repeat to create two additional beaded head pins. Attach them to the chain as shown. 8. String a 3mm silver bead, dichroic spacer and a 4mm silver bead onto a head pin. Make a loop above the top bead to attach it to the last link on the chain. |
