Notes:
Knot between each beads of this design using the Beadalon knotter tool. The knots keep the beads from rubbing against each other so your strand will last longer.
1. Place a double hand knot at the end of one of the green silks opposite end of needle. Thread the silk into a double cup bead tip and glue the knot to make it doubly secure. Close the double cup to conceal the knot inside it.

2. String beads onto silk as shown. Begin with shortest strand, finished length: about 15 in.

3. Using the knotter tool, tie a knot on each side of the single treasure beads. Where the design calls for 2 or 3 Toho treasure beads, tie knots on left and right of each group.

4. Continue making strands until all 5 have been strung and knotted. Make sure each of the strands is a different length. Equal lengths will give equal distance between strands, but asymmetric designs can be very interesting.

5. Once each strand has been strung and knotted and the final length determined, beginning with the shortest strand, string the silk through double cup bead tip. Make sure the bead tip is in the opposite direction so that the knot will be inside the bead tip after knotting.

6. Cut silk approximately 4 in. from the bead tip. Carefully separate the two twisted strands and tie two double overhand knots with the two ends, pull tightly on the first knot to take up the slack on the necklace. Do this for each of the strands individually.

7. Attach the loop end of bead tips to jump rings then to the ring end connector, doubling up on two of each side to allow all five strands to be connected.

8. Cut one link of chain and attach it with one jump ring to one connector, using another jump ring connect single link of chain to lobster clasp.

9. Attach remaining chain to other connector with jump ring.

10. Using head pin and beads as shown, use a basic wire loop on the end of the head pin and attach to end of length of chain.
