• Report from Bead Show •
We had great time exhibiting at the Bead Fest Philadelphia Show from August 22-24. Over 5,344 people walked through the doors of the Valley Forge Convention Center to see the thousands of beads, gemstones, findings, wire and tools. Loads of people stopped by our booth to see the many new products we had on display. The most popular items people were asking about were WildFire™ and Spin N Bead™. WildFire is a great new bonded thread perfect for seed bead weaving.
Our sole purpose at consumer bead shows is to educate beaders about our products, teaching the difference between all our Beadalon wires and demonstrating proper beading techniques. Our designers, Fernando Dasilva and Katie Hacker did a wonderful job showing off our exciting new products! While other wire companies may sell at bead shows to your customers, we help support the Beadalon distributors and local bead stores. We sell only through wholesale distributors and retail stores, and we rely on the Beadalon Distributors selling our products at the shows and the local bead stores in the area to be the source of Beadalon products.
The Meet the Teachers Reception, sponsored by Beadalon, was a fun, well-attended event where all the teachers could flaunt their talent and designs. Oooh’s and aaah’s were overheard as people anxiously gathered around the teachers to admire the wonderful pieces created. It was a time to mingle and sip a cocktail while listening to Brazilian lounge music. We were excited to be the sponsor of this event and always support the teachers of the beading industry.
