Wire twister Jump Ring Maker
Designed By Fernando DaSilva

• Instructions •
1. Attach the 3ft section of the purple wire through one of the holes in the Wire twister bend the wire in the middle so that you have two equal lengths, then attach the single piece of Gold wire to one of the other holes in the twister. Carefully wrap the gold wire around itself to secure. Attach the ends to a secure object such as a chair or table leg and secure the ends. Hold the twister by the center tube and turn the crank, continue turning until the wire twists up to the desired twist. It’s usually best to continue twisting until one of the wires breaks, this gives a nice tight twist on the wire, this also work-hardens the wire.

2. Cut the twisted wire from the twisting tool, then connect one end to the hole in the Jump ring maker and turn the handle to form jump rings. Use the 10mm mandrel. Continue to form jump rings until you have enough on the mandrel to make 10 to 12 jump rings.

3. Cut the coil from the jump ring maker with the cutters. Holding the coil with one hand slide the tip of the cutters into the coil and make a cut (you should be able to cut at least 3 coils at a time). Once these are free, while still holding them, flip the cutters around and cut the pointy side of the twisted jump rings. This gives a jump ring with two flush cuts. Make 10 of these flush cut twisted jump rings and set aside.

4. Cut 8 sections of polyester chain to have 7 complete links with the cutter. Open one of the 6mm jump rings and attach the toggle end of the clasp to one of the sections of polyester chain. Using one of the twisted jump rings connect the opposite end of the polyester chain to another piece of polyester chain and close the jump rings completely. Continue this linking until 4 sections of polyester chain are connected.

5. To the end of the section made in step 4 add another of the twisted jump rings and close, then using two 6mm jump rings attach this ring to another twisted jump ring. This is the center of necklace, from this point you can repeat all the previous steps in reverse to finish symmetrically the other half of necklace.

6. Slide the last piece of polyester chain onto a twisted jump ring and then attach to the center of necklace forming a “Y” shape drop.

7. String one bead bumper+ one bicone crystal + bead bumper into a head pin and make a simple loop on top of bead; make 4 more of these and set aside;

8. Attach pinch bails to jet stars carefully and set aside;

9. Slide one light weight jump ring into a purple CZ Gem Drop but do not close jump ring yet; make one more and set both aside;

10. Attach one light weight jump ring to jet star and set aside;

11. Start to add all dangles made from step 7 to 9 according to the shown picture; keep 2 bicones together alternated by a jet moon and a CZ Gem drop (both CZs must stay next to the center circle, one on each side);

12. Finish adding a jet star to the bottom link of polyester chainusing a jump ring; add a single bicone crystal using a second jump ring attached to the twisted ring.
