1. Attach jump ring to clasp using chain nose pliers to open and secure ring. Put a jump ring in jaws of clasp, you will use it later to finish necklace.
2. Cut off a 38” length of black beading wire with flush cutters.
3. Thread wire through jump ring attached to the end of the clasp. Clasp should be centered on your beading wire.
4. Thread both wires into a crimp tube sliding tube down to clasp.
5. Crimp wires. Do not cut off wire, you’ll be using both ends.
6. Thread a pearl on one wire.
7. Thread both wires into a star.
8. Keep wire loose as you continue this pattern alternating pearls and stars. If you make it too tight, the necklace will not fall properly when worn.
9. When you reach final pearl, thread wires onto jump ring in jaws of clasp. Crimp and this time cut off excess wires.
10. Cover crimps using crimp covers and Mighty Crimp Tool. |
